Rhino SuperCart traces its origins back to 1973 when Dutch Belnap, then assistant basketball coach at Utah State, got tired of dealing with unorganized equipment. He designed a solution and christened it the MAC5 (mobile athletic cart, 5 uses). Word spread and Dutch's MAC5 was soon in use in colleges and high schools around the intermountain west and even in the NFL.

The MAC5 underwent its first major redesign in 2000 when Joel Bass, Head Athletic Trainer at Weber State, came aboard with some new ideas. Another redesign in 2008 altered the side leaves so that that could fold up, as well as down, to serve as a back rest. The wheels and brakes were also improved and a two piece cart was introduced for easier packing on the road.

In 2010, at the request of a NCAA customer, Rhino began producing a Hydration SuperCart to manage cups, ice, and liquids. Cumbersome folding tables are a thing of the past on today's sidelines.

Rhino SuperCarts are now in use by over 200 teams across the country. Check out the "Teams" link at the top of this page to find a team near you, and ask them how their Rhino SuperCart has organized and professionalized their program.
